Feature Number In DAACS archaeological features have been assigned numbers that are unique to the site at which they were excavated. For those sites where the original excavators assigned numbers to features during excavation, DAACS used those original numbers. For sites where feature numbers were not assigned during excavation, DAACS assigned feature numbers. The latter are distinguished by an F prefix (e.g. F01, F02).
