Bead and Reel 02

Bead and Reel 02

Description:

This molded band is seen most often on early molded refined wares like Creamware. A chain of solid raised ovals oriented on a diagonal that are separated by two thin diagonal lines characterizes Bead and Reel 02. Similar to Bead and Reel 01. The key differences between these two bands are the size of the beads and lozenges and the fact that Bead and Reel 02 is meant to look like a twisted cable or rope.  The beads on Bead and Reel 01 are more circular and pronounced.
