Description:
Molded decoration usually seen on White Salt-glazed stoneware, Creamware, and Whieldon wares. Barley decoration is characterized by raised beads (or barleys) that have a wavy, molded pattern surrounding the beads, as if imitating barley husks.
Do not record the type of edge (rim) unless it is “spiked” (see “Scalloped edge, spiked”).
