Description:
Abstract representations of birds are seen most often on painted porcelain and Pearlwares. Stylized birds tend to be represented by short curved line in a V-formation or as V-shaped or M-shaped creatures themselves, painted much like the way we associate with children’s drawings of birds. An example of particularly abstract birds are below.
