Description:
This classification should be used when small, unidentifiable portions of a shell edge are present on a sherd. It is often the case that the decoration can be identified as a shell edge but not enough is present to name the exact band. Shell Edge, unid. should be used in these cases.
Stylistic Genre:
Shell Edge. Select Shell Edge plus the appropriate color (i.e. Shell Edge Blue, Shell Edge, Green, etc.)
